  • Manufactured in the USA by Byrd®, the H8803 8" Shelix Cutterhead is designed for use with specific jointer models (see below); This uniquely designed, exceptional quality cutterhead leaves the professional finish you want on every workpiece.

  • The inserts are positioned in a helical pattern and rotate at a slight angle for a shearing action that leaves a glassy smooth cut on the toughest of woods; You will get less tearout, a smoother finish, and reduce the noise of operating your jointer.

  • The cutterhead includes 40 pre-installed inserts, plus 5 additional inserts so you are ready to replace them individually when needed; This cutterhead can be used with the Grizzly G0490 and G0490X, Shop Fox W1741 and W1741S, and Delta DJ-20 jointers.
